Full vaccination against Covid-19 from a Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, or Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine is eligible for 8 hours of JUT credit for the 2021-2022 JUT year. Credit will be applied at a maximum of 8 hours, one time only, in the 2021-2022 JUT year.
Full vaccination did not have to occur during the 2021- 2022 JUT year to receive credit. The 2021 – 2022 JUT year began September 1, 2021 and ends August 31, 2022.
Journeymen are considered fully vaccinated:
2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
All documentation must be submitted by a member to their respective Local Union or current contractor. The A&J JUT Department will not accept any individual records submitted directly to the JUT Department by a Journeyman. COVID-19 vaccination credit requests are to be submitted no earlier than January 1, 2022 and no later than March 31, 2022. Requests submitted by any party outside of this window will not be processed.
To receive credit, a JUT vaccination credit request form can only be submitted by a Local Union or contractor representative via e-mail to Covid19Vaccinations@ajtraining.edu. The weekly credit request form deadline is Wednesday of each week between January 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022.
Proof of vaccination and/or any medical records shall not be submitted to the JUT Department e-mail, any individual A&J email, or Covid19Vaccinations@ajtraining.edu.
A weekly confirmation e-mail will be sent to the sender, acknowledging the receipt, and recording of the JUT vaccination request form. Additionally, members may check their individual credit through the A&J website. Results may take up to 24 hours following the weekly submission deadline of Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Any inquiries regarding this temporary addendum should be submitted by a representative of a respective Local Union or contractor representative to Covid19Vaccinations@ajtraining.edu.
