On the 4th of February 2021, we lost our dear Brother Ricky Velasquez. Ricky passed away from complications due to COVID-19. Ricky was a long-time member of UA-Local 114 Santa Barbara CA. He was a trusted traveling Pipefitter who always got the job done, and was a pleasure to work with. He was well known and well-liked as he traveled the country doing his part to build America. At the time he contracted COVID he was working at Intel for JH Kelly, out of UA Local 290 in Portland Or. Ricky was a member who understood the true meaning of union brotherhood. It was important to Ricky and his family that we all understand the dangers of COVID and take it seriously. These funds will be used to help the family, during this trying time.
