It's still October, but we're already gearing up for the Bike Build for CASA! Christmas wishes are still coming in, but so far there are 30 kids locally that asked for a bike this year!
We need your help to make sure their wish comes true. We help CASA build the bikes every year, but bikes aren't cheap. If you'd like to pitch in what you can, it will go a long way. CASA estimates that the 30 bikes and helmets will be around $5,000 total. Any donation you make goes straight towards getting a local kid just what they wanted for Christmas, what could be better than that? Click the link below to donate!
If you are interested in coming and building bikes on Saturday, November 19th, at 8:00am at the Hall, please call the Hall and RSVP with your shirt size.
CASA of Santa Barbara County strives to assign community volunteers to every child who has experienced abuse or neglect in Santa Barbara County - more than 600 children each year. A CASA volunteer is empowered by the court to advocate for a child's best interest in the courtroom, classroom, and community. More volunteers are needed, to learn more check out their website at sbcasa.org.
